JGRecyclers bring Hi-Cone Six-Pack Holder Recycling to the Lighthouse School, Grand Cayman

Plastic Six-Pack Recycling - Lighthouse School

The John Gray Recyclers visited the Lighthouse School on Tuesday, 23 March and presented a group of very enthusiastic students with their very own Hi-Cone Plastic Six Pack Recycling tree.  The John Gray Recyclers explained to the students and staff about the importance of "ReUsing" and "Recycling" to keep our environment clean and healthy, and to preserve our beautiful Coral Reefs and marine life.  After the presentation the students talked with the John Gray Recyclers and placed their six pack holders on their tree.

When the tree is full it will have approximately 1,000 six pack holders on.  The students of the Lighthouse School and the John Gray Recyclers then plan a visit to Bodden Beverages where they will find out how Bodden Beverages "Reuse" the six-pack holders.  Any left over will then be forwarded to Hi-Cone in the United States for recycling.

The John Gray Recyclers are very excited about introducing plastic recycling into the Cayman Islands and hope that more plastic recycling will take place soon.
