We have been extremely busy working on themes that relate to the "Baby Blues" that our weekly journal has spilled over to an extra two weeks that take us up to 24 October. Please click on the link below to find out about our float in the Cayman Islands' annual Pirates Week Float Parade on 25 October and our Rap Song that we recorded especially for our float.

This week we have got the "Baby Blues"! We are very excited about the Cayman Islands' National Trust "Baby Blues" programme. For more information contact Matt Cottam at the Natonal Trust. ------ mcottam@caymannationaltrust.org -------- You will be able to sponsor a Baby Blue, watch it grow, find out more about the Cayman Islands' Blue Iguana and help to preserve this endangered species.

Tuesday - We had a meeting at lunch time of all school members and discussed the bake sale we were having the next day, and our float for this week's Pirates Week Float Parade.

Wednesday - We had a very busy day! We had a very successful cake sale in the canteen break and lunchtime, and made CI$112.00 to help us decorate our float and enter the float parade.
Many thanks to all who gave up their free time and their support!
Many thanks to Nikita's grandma who was up at 3 00 am baking cakes!
After school the Community members met with some school members and discussed ideas for the float. Lawren, Cheyenne and Marlin practiced their rap.

Friday - Community members/school members met after school to discuss the float and work on their rap. They are meeting again on Saturday to prepare for the float parade and continue to work on the rap! Mrs Whitehead entered us for the float parade, chatted to Matt Cottam, and went to see the Cayman Islands' National Art Gallery's blue iguanas.
