 A flying fox bat
A flying fox bat
The flying fox disperses the flora of YasawaIRara. They stay sleeping in the trees during the day and at night make raucous noises while they go about eating fruits. They can be compared to the Grand Cayman parrot, although they are not related at all, because they take a bite of a fruit and then drop it and disperse the seeds. Why is this flying fox out during the day? He was to be the dinner of the Big Chief as it was too rough to fish that day!
